Charlton “Doc” Butts is a Florida native, born & raised locally in Palm Beach County. He was a 4-year scholar student-athlete at Santaluces Community High School before attending The University of Central Florida, where he earned his B.S. degree in Molecular Biology & Microbiology, with a minor in Health Sciences.
It was in high school when Doc developed his passion for exercise and fitness, where the focus was always training to be the best conditioned and agile athlete he could be to perform at maximal capacity during each competition. Once in college, that passion evolved to a higher standard, and diet and nutrition began to become more meticulously managed for the benefit of maximizing exercise results.
During college and post-graduate from UCF, Doc’s unwavering commitment to daily exercise began to attract the interest of his peers, and this would serve as the introductory role for training until becoming a nationally certified trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in August 2018. In 2020, Doc went a step further and earned his Fitness Nutrition Specialist Certification with ACE so that he could provide more comprehensive workout and nutrition guidance for personal training clients.
As a physician and fitness professional, Doc understands the role of healthy habits and daily activity for overall wellness. Born with a natural disposition for assisting, Doc’s main goal is to help every client reach their desired fitness goals. From experience in the competitive bodybuilding arena, he understands the feeling of pride and achievement once you’ve hit a milestone, and he would love nothing more than to create that same reality for YOU!
